Pattern Group Inc., a global eCommerce acceleration company, announced its acquisition of the Nextwave company, which has rapidly become a leader in helping to grow TikTok Shop. The deal expands Pattern’s capabilities in social commerce as TikTok Shop continues to emerge as a major channel for product discovery and conversion.

NextWave specializes in creator-driven product discovery, TikTok Shop operations, live selling, and affiliate growth. The agency brings strong credentials to Pattern, including TikTok Shop Partner (TSP) services, Creator Affiliate Partner (CAP) expertise, and a network of more than 1,200 managed creators and over 300,000 affiliates on TikTok.

Pattern CEO and co-founder Dave Wright said the acquisition positions the company to become a leading force in social selling, combining Pattern’s technology, AI, and marketplace expertise with NextWave’s creator-commerce execution. He noted that creators are increasingly shaping how consumers find and purchase products, making this expansion especially timely.

Founded in 2022 by Grace Yang, NextWave has quickly become one of the top-performing partners in the TikTok ecosystem. The company supports brands with creator management, rapid content production, and full-funnel TikTok Shop growth. NextWave is headquartered in Los Angeles, with teams based in both Los Angeles and New York.

NextWave is partnering with Pattern to grow its reach by combining NextWave’s experience with TikTok Shop and Network with Pattern’s Global reach, AI Data, and Marketplace Connect.

With the acquisition of Pattern, brands now have access to a more integrated approach to connect creator-driven demand with performance in the TikTok, Amazon and Walmart marketplaces as well as the other 60 Global Marketplaces. The integrated platform will allow brands to view all of their data, attribution, and operational support in one place. Thus, brands will be able to expand rapidly through Social and Traditional E-commerce channels.
